It is love at first sight between Archie Moffam and Lucille Brewster who get married right away, and stay in love even after their wedding. The rest of the story revolves around Archie’s efforts towards winning the affections of his father-in-law. Archie’s indiscretions are tame when compared to the situations Bertie Wooster typically finds himself in. Consequently, the humor stemming out of the situations are equally tame. Indiscretions of Archie is still a fun read, even if the humor is subtle and understated.
