தண்டவாளம்

பெண்ணியத்தையும், சமூகத்தில் நாம் காணும் சமத்துவமின்மையையும் மையமாகக் கொண்ட சிறுகதைத் தொகுப்பு தண்டவாளம். என்னுடைய இரண்டாவது புத்தகமான தண்டவாளம் ஏப்ரல்  2022 இல் வெளிவந்தது. தினமணி பத்திரிகையில் இதைப் பற்றி வந்த விமர்சனத்தை இங்கு படிக்கலாம். 

நாற்பது வருட இடைவெளிக்குப் பிறகு தமிழில் எழுத முடியுமா என்று எனக்குள்ளே தோன்றிய கேள்விக்குப் பதிலளிக்கும் முயற்சியின் விளைவுதான் இத்தொகுப்பில் உள்ள “மௌனமான கதறல்” சிறுகதை.

My second book, “Thandavalam”, is a feminist themed short story collection, dealing with women’s issues and social inequity. This was published in April 2022 and Tamil newspaper, Dinamani did a review of that book.

This anthology contains the story titled “Silent Screams” (மௌனமான கதறல்). That story was born out of my desire to see if I could still write in Tamil after a 40-year gap.
