Odathea is a fast-paced thriller in which the protagonists, a newly married couple, are in a run from law enforcement for reasons that elude them completely. Making a very late appearance in the story, the brainy duo, Ganesh & Vasanth help untangle the mystery for the readers. The elaborate description of the escape of the couple from police who give them a spirited chase makes an interesting read, with Sujatha employing his classic writing style to keep the readers engrossed. But the explanation offered by Ganesh – Vasanth seems somewhat disjointed and force fitted into wrap up the story.
