Dan Brown’s The Secret of Secrets grabbed my attention instantly with his flourishing writing style and arresting beginning. The intrigue kept increasing as the story dug into Noetic science – the study of human consciousness. After peaking way too early, the story goes on a downward spiral as it becomes a regular CIA centered thriller with as many twists as Brown could manage, most of them very predictable, including the final one regarding the destroyed manuscript.
